A backpack made up of far more than $500,000 really worth of jewelry that belonged to Allen Iverson was stolen Monday, Philadelphia Police Section general public data officer Miguel Torres confirmed to United states of america Right now Sports.
According to the Philadelphia Law enforcement Section report, Iverson’s merchandise was documented missing about 10:30 a.m. at the Sofitel Lodge in Philadelphia. It is unclear if Iverson was existing at the time of the burglary.
An investigation remains ongoing. Currently, police are hunting for a black male in his 20s who was last witnessed donning a dim jacket, pink shirt and black and white sneakers.
Iverson, 44, officially retired in 2013 after a 14-year occupation that provided an MVP award and 11 All-Star appearances. He was inducted into the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame in 2016.
